7 Ways To Correctly Grow Your Business On Social Media
When using social media as a tool grow your business and attracting the right people, erase the mindset of earning money. Start thinking that everything is an exchange of energy and talent. Money is the result of these exchanges!
1) Be A Leader
Ask yourself this question; Are you becoming a good leader? You will easily answer yes to this question if you know in your heart that you have honest intentions.
If your intention is to give more then you receive, you will be a good leader simply because people don’t like to surround themselves with takers!
When we chose our friends offline or online, we are attracted by people like ourselves. We want to surround ourselves with people we know, like and trust…plain and simple!
2) Continue To Attract New People
Don’t get stuck talking to the same people everyday… You must continue to meet new people. That’s the secret of becoming a good leader and applying successful networking.
Sometimes we start a relationship with someone only to realize that their energy is draining and negative. It’s important to know when it’s time to simply let go. It’s a gift when someone who is negative towards you leaves. You will soon gain new positive friends because you are changing and because you trust yourself.
3) Find Out What People Need
Continually share valuable tips and content about what you have discovered people need. They will recognize your skills and want to come to you for answers and because you have established strong relationships, people will be open to look at what else you have to offer.
4) People Gravitate Around Positive people
I’m sure you noticed that sharing and engaging are two of the most important elements needed in order to attract new people.
When you engage and take the time to acknowledge what people do, comment and let them know you appreciate them, you will keep their attention and create a warm following of people eager to read engage back with you.
If you take care of people in the same manner as you take care of your best friends, people will continually be attracted to you…You become a positive magnet people want to gravitate around.
5) Remain Authentic And Real
People are naturally attracted to authenticity and to people who are genuine. I personally noticed that when it comes to making friends …especially on social media sites, If I find someone with a genuine approach, I go towards them naturally.
It’s like feeling the pull of a magnet and that is a very powerful way to establish your presence online!
Tip: Just “open up” and share with your experiences with others.
6) A Good Leader Knows To Establish True Friendship -
We respect people who share and give. It is natural to any relationship and it remains a golden rule on the Internet.
Think about your best friend right now…How did you establish that friendship? Certainly not by presenting a false YOU. No, you probably approached that person naturally, showing who YOU are. Maybe by cracking a joke!…Humor is always a good sign for me… You want people to LOVE you for who you are.
7) Get Compensated
When taking steps towards monetizing and leveraging facebook or any social media sites, it’s never just about making money. The only time it becomes acceptable to make money from social communities is when you are continually adding more value to that community.

This is exactly what I have been going through over the last few days, “Sometimes we start a relationship with someone only to realize that their energy is draining and negative. It’s important to know when it’s time to simply let go. It’s a gift when someone who is negative towards you leaves. You will soon gain new positive friends because you are changing and because you trust yourself.” I have had a couple of bloggers whom I have been following who turned out to be not what they represented themselves as. I feel like a black cloud has been lifted from me. Amazing that you so clearly listed this. I always think that being up front about things is best but sometimes you just have to go and get away from the energy.

Hi Nicole,
I’m so thrilled to see you and read your comment… it;s funny today I opened my e-mail box and found WAY too many messages I didn’t care to open (I need to fix that). I went down the list and when I came to your e-mail, I marked it “important” with a star next to it… I was planning to visit you blog today and here you are…with this specific comment… Loved it…so happy to be connected with you Nicole
Nathalie,
Too often, people think in terms of “What can I get? Is it worth my time? How much time will it take? How much money can I make now? What can this other person give to me?
The really successful people tend to think in terms of “What can I do to help others, to serve others, to teach others, to support others?” It is amazing to focus on giving and providing value and support. That makes us feel good – and – when we are ready to monetize our products and services, those who we have helped will be so much more receptive.
Warmly,

Hi Heather,
Great point…standing in our own way will only slow us down and not realizing our true potential. Thanks for stopping by!
Excellent tips. When I was in direct sales I found one of the most difficult challenges my leadership encountered was learning when it was not only “ok” but necessary to let go. Sometimes they’d get so frustrated because they felt they’d “invested” so much time in the person, but ultimately that’s our issue, not the other person’s problem.

Hello Marquita,
Wow! I just love your comment and I agree with you that this would probably one of the toughest thing for people to do…but yes…it is imperative to learn to let go!
Nathalie,
I think another way to grow your business is to develop raving fans. What better way to expand your influence and reach than through the referrals of loyalists?
Great content, as always!

Yes! That’s a great one, Thanks for sharing
All of those are good tips. I especially think it’s important to be authentic. Social media is an awesome way to grow business but it is really important to approach it in a way that is inviting rather than repelling people.

Hi Melodie,
I couldn’t have said it better and the best way to repel people is by taking more then you give!
these are great tips for a newbie OR anyone who’s been around for a while! thanks for a great read. i think being yourself (authentic) and being positive are the most important. we are energetic beings, and we gravitate towards those that vibrate at higher frequencies. just being the best “YOU” will attract those that are like you, and i find those that are like me are the easiest to work with! the money will come…

Hi Melissa,
I agree with you on that great point…Too often, we seem to search what we could do to better ourselves and the simplicity of knowing that by simply doing your best, you will automatically be more attractive to other and also have a lot more self – confidence! We are responsible for our own self-image!
Hi Nathalie, Your post is so important to keep in mind. You clearly describe the important elements for a successful venture. When we realize that money is only a bi-product of a life in service to others focused on supporting and encouraging them to become a better person. I particularly like the point about surrounding us with positive persons because only then can be become a positive influence in others. When we do that the benefits we receive are priceless. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.
