MLM Downline Builder-Finding Your Inner Strength

One of the things that motivated today’s post was watching my daughter practice her gymnastics. She is so enthusiastic, dedicated and committed to what she does. I remember being just like her when I was in gymnastics and sports as a young person too. I was at every practice and my goal was to SHINE. I worked hard to reach for the gold, so to speak. Today it struck me. Do I apply that same enthusiasm and commitment to my online job as I once did to sports? Do you?

Catch the Spirit

What were you passionate about in the past? What motivated everything you did and drove you? Do you have that same commitment to your network or MLM marketing that you did to sports when you were a kid or in high school? I think it’s important that we do catch that spirit and use it towards our goals as entrepreneurs.  In order to reach our goals and dreams we have to be driven. We have to be motivated and possess an inner strength. If not it is going to become just like any other 9 – 5 job you do to get through the day and pay the bills.

Finding Your Inner Strength

So what can you do to grasp that enthusiasm, dedication and drive and put it into play in your business? Well, the first thing you can do is NEVER lose sight of what your goals and dreams are. Write them out and post them above your desk, on the wall, on the refrigerator – anywhere you can to constantly remind you. Post a picture of your dream vacation where you can see it. Take the time each day before starting work to think about those goals and draw upon that inner reserve. This will help on the days when you don’t feel like working.

Be Committed

This is another key to anyone who wants to be successful. You must be committed to what you are doing. Sure there are going to be days when you want to throw in the towel and quit. Everyone has those. But you were not able to do that when you played sports and you can’t do it now. Find a “coach” or mentor who won’t let you quit just like your real coach wouldn’t when you were in an activity as a kid.

Look for the Bigger Picture

Look ahead to where you want to be ten years from now. What you want for your kids and your family. This is a great way to draw on that inner strength.  Knowing that you are helping others in the business and they depend on you can be a great motivator as well. If you are not already helping someone than find someone to mentor, help or simply encourage.  If you need even more motivation go watch some kids practice their sport and grab some of that enthusiasm for yourself!
