Do you think small hand tissue? Nope, you think - Kleenex. That is branding. Making what you do, your slogan or your name known for something specific.
It’s a very effective marketing tool and I must say it is one area worth spending a good amount of time.
Successful Branding With A Unique Message
Developing your personal brand is the secret to how effective your business will become online. Whether you are developing your content by video, podcast or blog, the essence that is YOU, will be what makes you stand out from the competition.
You don’t have to be the only one in your niche - you just have to have something unique about your message.
One thing you need to remember in today’s business world, your business and your personal brand need to be ONE and the same, no matter what sector of the industry you are representing, and no… it does not happen overnight.
Successful Branding Is Telling Others Who You Are
First, growing a business or a persona by developing your personal brand is not a new concept. Many actors, television show hosts and politicians use these strategies to put themselves in the public eye.
For example, think John Wayne and you automatically think of cowboys and American patriotism. This wasn’t just roles he played in movies – it was who he was!
You do exactly the same thing when getting started in branding you will establish yourself as a leader and someone that has something to offer: SUCCESS.
The people who will view your blog or videos will instantaneously feel a connection. Why? Because, when developing your personal brand, you made sure to target a specific niche of people, such as women in MLM or young corporates, within your particular niche.
Developing your personal brand is so important. It may seem hard to accomplish, but yet there are little things that make you unique. You just need to discover what these things are and keep promoting them.
Use slogans, pictures and ideas to convey your brand. Like I said, it takes efforts. You can’t start and after a month or two into the business say something like; “Well, I am established. I don’t need to work on that anymore.”
Once you have developed a brand you can use it to continually re-establish your purpose. For example, if your message is “Get it done quickly!” and you have promoted and built up a business on the premise then you can sell an e-book that shares “Tips for Getting it Done Quickly.”
This will sell because you have made this your brand and it will reinforce what your brand is at the same time. Makes sense doesn’t it? So start developing your personal brand today. You can do it and I am cheering for you!
